Favour can give you an advantage over others! It can cause you to stand out and be selected over very qualified counterparts.
Esther was selected over several other beautiful ladies that were qualified to be queen. The Bible says She obtain favour in the sight of all who saw her. "And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her." (Esther 2:15)
David had his share of what favour can do. He was chosen for a position he naturally was not qualified for, especially among others that are far more qualified than him!
David was the most unqualified person in his family but God rejected others and chose him. "So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” (1Samuel 16:12)
In the case of Peter, his little effort produced amazing results beyond his expectations. After toiling through the night and catching nothing but the word of Jesus released God’s favour and Peter had a great catch.
"But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word, I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking." (Luke 5:5-6)
Favour will always cause help to be available for you where it's least expected. Before Joseph was made second in command, in Egypt, he went through a very turbulent life. All the plots against him would have ended his dream but the favour of the Lord came to his rescue. God's favour created a new position for Joseph that made him a lord over all the Egyptians. “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry. (Genesis 45: 9)
God's favour can locate you wherever you are and change your story to glory. This same favour of God located Moses at the backside of the desert and made him a God to Pharaoh.
Favour found David where he was looking after the sheep and made him a king over Israel. It located Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus and made him one of the greatest Apostles who ever lived. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. (Acts 9:15)
Favour will single you out from a crowd. It doesn't matter how many people are there, the favour of God will choose you out and say "You are the one I want!" Hallelujah!
