Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets. Acts 3:20-21
Restoration is a deep desire by everyone which can only be obtained through revelation. Understanding that revelation is the gateway to your inheritance is crucial. According to God's Word, He has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him (2 Peter 1:3).
Your restoration heritage is guaranteed in Christ however, the extent of access to your inheritance in Christ depends on your insight. Therefore, be excited by God's word and any opportunity to study God's word because revelation is the key to your inheritance of restoration.
Our main scripture says that Jesus wouldn't come back to earth until all the things that the prophets spoke about were restored. And it says that they'll be restored before Jesus comes back. We must recognize our right to this wonderful assurance of restoration.
Your Right To Restoration
1. Redemption
As the redeemed of the Lord, every child of God is destined for supernatural restoration in many areas of life. The Bible says, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14
2. Seed of Abraham
Through redemption, you become a seed of Abraham! Being a part of Abraham's lineage entitles you to his blessings. (Genesis 12:3).
"And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:29
3. The End-time Prophetic Agenda
God's end-time agenda includes restoration as an essential aspect, and we, as His end-time saints, are recipients of this restoration.
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame." Joel 2:25-26
How To Receive Restoration!
Job serves as a classic example of receiving restoration; a double one for that matter! "And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." Job 42:10. Let's learn from Job's attitude that led to his double restoration.
1. Repentance
True restoration begins with repentance. Job realized that he opened the door for the devil through fear, for this reason, he prayed a prayer of repentance. "Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:6. Every negative occurrence in life is mostly traced back to the individual. Don't give any place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27)
2. Love
Despite his challenges, Job remained a devoted lover of God. Even when his friends mocked him, love compelled him to pray for them. Your genuine love for God will extend to others even those who hurt you (1 John 4:20-21). It was Job's demonstration of love that led to his restoration.
You can't experience restoration while turning your back on the God of restoration. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips. Job 2:9-10.
3. Revelation
Deep revelation is the gateway to manifold restoration (Proverbs 6:30-31). Job had profound revelations that opened doors to double restoration. He knew that his change was coming (Job 14:14). Your inheritance can only be received through revelation (Isaiah 60:1-3). "But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10
4. Faith
"Faith is vital in accessing your restoration package from God. Job's faith was unwavering, and he fully trusted in God. The stronger your faith, the greater your trust in God. If you lose faith, you close the door to your restoration and if you hold onto your faith, you open the door to your restoration! You must believe to be empowered (Luke 1:45). "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him. He also shall be my salvation, For a hypocrite could not come before Him." Job 13:15-16
5. Prayer and Fasting
Engage in prayer and fasting as a powerful platform to supernaturally access and receive your restoration. Through spiritual warfare, destroy the hold of the wicked on what rightfully belongs to you.
"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Continue... (Isaiah 58:6-10)
Restoration through Divine Guidance
Divine guidance plays a significant role in accessing restoration. Let's see how it works!
1. Be born again (John 10:4-5): To be led by God, you must first be born again and have His life within you. Those who have the Son have life (1 John 5:12). Divine guidance qualifies you for supernatural breakthroughs (Isaiah 48:17-21).
2. Desire to be led: Acknowledge God in all your ways, making Him your true guide, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
3. Position yourself spiritually (Revelation 1:10): Maintain a high level of spiritual sensitivity, so you can hear God's voice anytime and anywhere. Many miss divine direction because they are not spiritually positioned.
4. Engage in prayer and fasting (2 Samuel 5:19-23): Seek God's guidance through prayer and fasting to discover the path to your desired restoration.
God's leading is essential in accessing your next levels of restoration. If you want complete restoration of your redemptive dignity, open yourself up to divine guidance. Just as God led Moses step-by-step in restoring the destiny of the Israelites, He has marked you out for restoration and no devil can stop it. Your change of story has finally arrived, so be restored!
If you're born again, you have the power to benefit from divine guidance but if you are not born again, Confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
If you're ready for this new birth experience, say this prayer: "Almighty God, I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the son of God and He is the Lord of my life. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He is alive forever. I have eternal life through Him and His name. I am born again. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul! I am now a child of God. Amen.
