He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38
On the inside of you is an unbeatable spirit, a supernaturally blessed, prosperous and victorious person. You are confident and secure, talented and creative, disciplined and focused. However, just because they are in you doesn’t mean they are automatically going to come out; they have to be nurtured and cultivated.
In the book of Romans 12:2, the scripture says “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. The word “Transformed” in the original language is “Metamorpho”. It’s where we get our word “Metamorphous”.
Just like the way a caterpillar metamorphoses into a butterfly. It’s saying that by getting our thoughts going in the right direction, not dwelling on negative and condemning thoughts, but programming our mind with what God says about us, then a transformation or a continuous transformation will be activated.
Think about the little caterpillar; It starts as one of the most unattractive insects. It’s very plain, nothing really special about it. But God predestined it to go through a transformation. At a certain point, it forms a cocoon. This metamorphosis starts to take place.
Little by little it changes. One day it begins to push out of the cocoon. It goes from being one of the most plain insects to being one of the most beautiful, colourful, graceful insects. Instead of having to crawl on the ground, and squirm around, now it can fly wherever it wants to go.
In the same way, we all start very little and naturally or canal (1 Corinthians 2:14). Our thoughts, without being restrained, naturally gravitate toward the negative. We think, ” I’m not qualified”. “I will never rise much higher, I come from the wrong family”. Or, “I have made too many mistakes, there are health challenges in my lineage. There is nothing extraordinary about me and God could never bless me that much.
Do you know what those thoughts are? They are “caterpillar stage of butterfly” thoughts. Just because we started that way doesn’t mean that we are supposed to finish that way. God has predestined us to go through a transformation.
One of the things we must be conscious of is that it’s not up to God rather it’s up to us. The only way to unveil God’s hidden treasure in us is to get our thinking in line with God's word Cocoon words like “I will never lose this weight”. “My business isn’t going to get off the ground”. I am not going to get healed, I may not come out from this enormous challenge “I’m not a good parent”. I am not a good spouse. Those thoughts will keep God’s hidden treasure in you from coming out.
You have to realize there is a great parent already in you just waiting to be unveiled. There is healing in you waiting to manifest. There is victory in you waiting to come forth. If you are going to see your metamorphosis take place, you have to be convinced, “In you right now is a great father or a great mother or a great spouse. Decide to renew your mind continuously until God’s hidden treasure in you comes forth.
You may be struggling with an addiction but in you right now is a free person. You may be down in your finances. Business is slow. But in you right now is a person who lends and not borrows, the head and not the tail. If you will just keep renewing your mind, agreeing with what God says about you, it’s just a matter of time before your God’s hidden treasure comes out.
When the thoughts tell you, “You are never going to change. It’s never going to get any better”. No, just remind yourself, “I’m being transformed. My metamorphosis has already begun”. That’s how you bring forth the God-hidden treasure that’s in you.
Some people have incredible talent. They have so much to offer. The problem is they have never gone through their transformation. They are allowing the same negative recording to play in their mind all over again and again. Your life is going to follow your thoughts. If you think you have reached your limits then you have. If you don’t think you can break that addiction then you won’t. You have to change your thinking.
There is God’s hidden treasure in you; there is victory, freedom, and excellence in you. It’s all on the inside. But you have got to do your part and go through the transformation. The word of God says, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter”(Proverbs 4:18) All through the day, “I’m rising higher. I haven’t seen my best days. Something good is going to happen to me” I am a bundle of success going somewhere to happen.
As you meditate on the right words day in and day out, you are breaking out of that cocoon. A wing is coming out. People may have spoken negative things about you but the good news is people don’t determine your destiny. You are not who people say you are. You are who God says you are.
On the inside of you right now is a victorious, successful, not average, not mediocre, world changer, history maker, just waiting to be unveiled. You are destined to leave your mark on our generation. There is no limit to what God can do in you and through you when you reprogram your thinking and start believing that you are blessed, valuable, one of a kind, more than a conqueror… As you continue to renew your mind, transformation will take place.
I’ve learned that the enemy doesn’t fight you for where you are. He fights you for where you are going. He would love to keep you in your cocoon. He doesn’t want you to break out and soar and live an overcoming life. He wants you to struggle, be insecure, be burdened!
It all starts in our mind. If he can control your thoughts he can control your whole life. All through the day, say “I can do all things through Christ. I am strong in the Lord. If God be for me who dare be against me”?
Now, maybe you are not out yet either but don’t get discouraged. God is still working on you. Every day you think the right thoughts you are breaking out of that cocoon a little bit more. At the right time, you are going to take off and God is going to take you places that you could never go on your own.
GOD CALLS YOU BY YOUR HIDDEN TREASURE
A man in the scripture by the name of Gideon. God wanted him to lead the people of Israel against an opposing army. But Gideon had all these ”caterpillar stages of butterfly” thoughts. One day the angel of the Lord appeared unto him and said, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valour” (Judges 6:12) I can imagine Gideon looking around thinking, “Who is He talking about? I am not a mighty man of valour”
Gideon was afraid, intimidated, insecure, just the opposite. But notice, God didn’t call him what he was. God called him what he could become. God calls you by your hidden treasure that is yet to come out. God knows what you are capable of. You may feel weak but God calls you strong. You may be intimidated today but God calls you confident. You may feel less than but God calls you well able.
If the angel of the Lord were to appear to you today he would say the same thing he said to Gideon. Why don’t you get in agreement with God and start believing what He says about you?
Gideon answered the angel back in verse fifteen. He said, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” Notice those thoughts.
A lot of times, like Gideon, we do the same thing. “I can’t do anything great. I’m not that talented. If I was a different nationality. If I had a better personality, Pastor If I hadn’t made so many mistakes”. Get rid of the excuses. You are equipped. You are empowered. You already have everything you need to fulfil your destiny. It’s in you right now; do your part to bring it out.
You may have gone through disappointments. People may have treated you unfairly. You missed good opportunities. But let these words sink deep down into your spirit. There is a hidden treasure in you. Hold your head up high. Carry yourself with confidence. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. You are wearing a crown of favour
I can see a royalty reading this message. I can see kings. I can see queens. I can see your crown of favour. I can see your robe of honour. I can see the children of the Almighty God reading through this message.
One day God said, “Jacob, I’m going to change your name”. (Genesis 32:27-28) His name meant, “Deceiver”. God said, “I don’t want you to be called that anymore. Your new name is going to be Israel”. Israel means, “Prince with God”. He went from being called a cheater to being called a prince with God.
Sometimes, the only thing that is holding you back is your thoughts toward yourself. You are focused on your mistakes, how you blew it, how you didn’t measure up. You’ve got to reprogram your thinking. Get rid of those caterpillar stages of butterfly thoughts. All through the day, “I’m redeemed, restored. I am royalty. I am more than a conqueror”. I believe today is going to be the start of some transformations.
Some metamorphoses are taking place right now. You need to get ready; the treasure is about to come forth in you that you didn’t know you had. Strongholds of inferiority are being broken. You are going to feel a new boldness, a new confidence to step into the fullness of your destiny.
As you continue renewing your mind, programming it with what God says about you, then God’s hidden treasure in you will come out. I am calling out the confidence in you. I’m calling out the success in you, the blessed in you, the talent in you, the discipline in you, the excellent in you, the good health in you, the long life in you.
I declare that they are coming forth in Jesus’ name. The eagle in you is coming forth. You are not going to stay where you are. You are being transformed. You are going to soar and attain the height that you could have never gotten to on your own in Jesus’s name.
